This movie explores the idea of another wise man. It is not supposed to be taken as fact, but as a story to demonstrate how through loving others, we love Jesus. The basic storyline is that there was a fourth wise man who was late in meeting the other three. They leave without him and Artaban and his servant are forced to try to find the newborn king by themselves. On the way, Artaban gives up his gifts to begin his journey, save a baby in Bethlehem during the slaughter of the infants, and to save a young girl from being sold into slavery. He tries to pay for Jesus' release on the road to Calvary, but he is too old and sick. I won't tell you the end because that might spoil it. I think almost any child could handle it, but there is the leper colony, the slaughter of the infants, and a very mild crucifixion. No bad language as far as I can remember.
