This is a really interesting movie, besides being extremely funny at times. Most people know by now that it's about a guy named Truman whose life is a 24-hour TV show. He doesn't know this, but everyone else does. He finally gets a clue. What's really scary is that the concept of creating a false world around one life like that is not as far-fetched as it might seem. The "creator" (some interesting ideas there about impersonating God, too) says, "It was the first time a corporation had adopted a child," when talking about Truman's beginnings. This is really an amazing movie if you look beyond the surface. Not that it isn't funny, too. Well, hey! It's Jim Carrey!
