Why I Made this Web SiteWell, it seemed like a fun thing to do. I know some people who write web pages, such as Mai, Dad, the Jarskis, and Will. Dad encouraged me to try it, so I read the tutorial he sent me to, and I discovered that html is fun! So, now I have a simple web site. Then when I started school and the school newspaper, I realized that this site could help me deal with the articles for newspaper. So I would edit my articles at home, upload them to my site, and copy them onto the macs at school. I spend less time on those horrid macs and I don't have to cart floppies all over the place like everyone else does. So that's great. Until recently, I avoided publishing any personal stuff on my site because, as I said on my main page, I am trying to be less self-centered. And I didn't want any scary people to know anything about me. But I decided to change that because I realized it is kind of hard to witness if a person knows nothing about you, and no one could really tell who I was from the other parts of my page very well. But then again, few people can tell who I am anyway. |
